About Sunset Hospitality

Sunset Hospitality Group was founded in 2011 by Antonio Gonzalez, Ahmad Hafez, and Serge Dfouni with a vision to create unique experiences around the world, through a diverse mix of hospitality concepts. From the Spanish restaurants Tapeo and El Sur to specialty venues like Rare, Chic, Regina, and Story, to name a few, Sunset Hospitality Group consistently delivered memorable dining experiences.

In 2016, Sunset introduced Azure Beach, followed by Drift Beach Club in 2017 and Stage in 2018. In 2021, Sunset introduced 10 new brands including SUSHISAMBA, Aura Skypool Lounge, METT Hotels and Resorts, Isola Ristorante Italiano, Folie Restaurant & Sea, and RAISE Fitness & Wellness, taking its portfolio to over 30 venues.

Sunset welcomed the year 2022 with the opening of DREAM and Garden of Dreams, followed by L’Amo Bistro Del Mare. Other concepts opening this year are MOTT 32 and ATTIKO.

SHG continues its impressive growth and plans to increase its portfolio to over 50 operating venues and extend footprints to 14 countries by the end of 2022, confirming its status as the leader in hospitality management in the UAE.
