About Pakistan Higher Secondary School RAK
Pakistan Higher Secondary School, Ras Al Khaimah was established in 1976.
The school land was donated by His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qasimi on 27/03/1976 to the Pakistani Community. Later on 01/12/1978, the School was approved by the Ministry of Education and one year later on 01/10/1979 Economic Department was approved as well.
The school was affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad in 1987. The Pakistani Consulate, Dubai renovated the school in 2009. The PHSS RAK has risen from its modest beginnings as a Primary School to become a major force in the education world, with an ever-expanding base.
In 2014, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the UAE National Agenda as an extension to achieve the UAE Vision 2021. The United Arab Emirates Vision 2021 has education as its foundation, both explicitly and implicitly. Vision 2021 includes aspirations for citizenship, a spirit of entrepreneurship, enhanced educational attainment, and a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation, research, science, and technology. The realization of these aspirations requires a world-class education system, responsive to national needs and aligned to international standards.
